Bio-Avail Mag is best taken with food. We recommend taking the daily two-capsule serving with dinner to promote optimal sleep and relaxation and healthy elimination the following day.

Many magnesium supplements on the market contain magnesium oxide or magnesium citrate. These forms of magnesium are not as well-absorbed as the Buffered Magnesium Chelates that we use in Bio-Avail Mag, which bypass typical routes of absorption and are thus less likely to cause the unpleasant gastrointestinal effects associated with less bioavailable forms of magnesium.

Why were the ingredients changed?

There is no notification or idication that the ingredients changed nor an explanation?

Hi Dan, We apologize for the confusion. The Bio-Avail Mag formula had a slight update in August of 2023. Prior to this, it contained a combination of magnesium glycinate chelate and magnesium oxide. Now, it contains only magnesium glycinate chelate, which is better absorbed and is less likely to cause G.I. side effects. The dosage remains the same (300 mg), and the source of the magnesium glycinate chelate (Albion TRAACS) is also the same. Brown rice flour was added as an excipient, which was required due to the chemodynamics of the new formula. We have a 60-day, no questions asked refund policy and would be happy to issue a full refund of your purchase. Simply contact support and we’ll take care of you. Ingredient Changes

I was so very disappointed with my recent Bio-Avail Mag reorder. I was advised that the packaging had changed to the pouches however was not advised that Adapt Naturals had actually changed their ingredients as well. I did not realize that I would need to check for ingredient changes each time I reordered this product. Will not order this again. Will continue to use the Bio-Avail E capsules but will pay more attention to the ingredients each and every time I order.
